Why I've Just Decided to Vote Early and to Take a Video Camera to My Polling Place

I don't care if it's a glitch or a trick - anything that keeps a voter from being able to cast her vote for the candidate of her own choosing is wrong:

(h/t Guanabee, where we're reminded "Make sure you get out to the polls early, kittens. Before you hit the poles, even.")

I think that the early polling place is actually just a few blocks away from my house, so I might even go today. I love it that, early or not, I can walk to where I vote.

We voted last week...five minute process, no line. We did miss out getting an "I Voted Sticker" though.

I voted early on as well (had to make sure my vote was counted in). The process was fairly short and simple especially since I knew which candidates to vote for.

I didn't see anyone having trouble with their machine, but perhaps we should consider the paper and pen method? =)

I wish NY had early voting b/c it's going to be a complete nightmare. My wait for the primary alone was annoying, so I'm waking up extra early to make sure I'm on the line before 6 (when locations open). My goal is to be first in line, let's see what happens!
