Girl-Crush of the Day
In this Vogue article on Jill Biden, there's a bit about how Joe asked her to marry him five times before she said yes. And I totally get it. I kind of want to marry her myself. At 30, a stepmother to two young boys, pregnant with her first child, and married to a senator, instead of sitting back and relaxing, she got her Masters. With Michelle Obama, she's changing the definition of the political wife. There's also a look at Joe's sister Jean, his campaign manager and best friend. (Aw.)

Wow, who knew Jill Biden was so cool? I don't like the title of the Vogue piece, although I know they just wanted to be clever, but all-in-all an interesting piece on some kick-ass women.
I love Jill Biden! She should be my new best friend.
The piece itself had several little tastes of sexism, but whatevs, she's hella cool!
I can't help wonder, though, when will Vogue be getting to its piece on Todd Palin? I mean, they did Cindy McCain, Michelle Obama, and now Jill Biden. Something tells me I shouldn't expect to see that any time soon...
