If you're bored this weekend, remember that the Washington Post is currently looking for submissions from women writers for a new column, The XX Files. It's no secret that the WaPo has presented us with some phenomenally sexist portrayals of women in the past and are in great need of good feminist writers. I hope they'll be receiving submissions from all of our amazing contributors and readers. Writing about your experiences, how gender (and race, and sexual orientation) have impacted your life, or about any of the injustices you see and what you're doing to rectify them is time well spent. Should the WaPo foolishly decide to overlook your submission, there are plenty of other places to send your work - including your's truly.
