Poor Eve!

I see that the new banner for Second Innocence proclaims that Eve got a bad rap. So, I couldn't resist doing a wee bit of surfing to determine if anyone else proclaims the same. Ah, how I relish like minds. While I find the formatting of this post distracting, I do love proclaiming Eve as our hero, our giver of knowledge, our giver of curiosity, our earliest feminist savior. You go girl!

No banner is ever set in stone - so I'll open it up for discussion and declare a competition! Anyone have clever ideas for a new subtitle for SI? Winner gets a SI mug!

I would also like to announce the competition to design the official SI mug...

Oh...I'm not smack talking the banner! It just made me do some research...and how is that not a good thing?

Oh - I knew you weren't smack talking, and I love the post you linked. Yet, I still say that declaring competitions is the best way to get things done. While I'm at it, I want some new art for the header as well, so...
The SI Artwork Competition has been declared! Contestants may submit artwork for the header and we, the SI editorial staff, will chose a winner. Winner gets their artwork displayed as the official SI logo, and to hand over the rights to that image to the SI staff. Also, winner gets a mug.

Alright then. Game on!

How about "Because too much sugar and spice and everything nice just makes your teeth fall out and causes nausea"?

If I win, do I get the mug???

Or how about just: "Revolutionizing What It Means to Be a 'Good Woman'"?

I want a good, clean mission statement - but I have certain tenancies towards pedantry, and I need your help in fighting them.

How about just "Modern Feminism"?

Hummm... I like it. But, as I have yet to have a winner for the mug competition, I cannot declare you the winner since a competition with no prize just isn't a competition.
