Baaabies! A Whole Pen Full of Babies!

Can you spot all 10 disturbing things about this Mother's Day cover of The New Yorker?

Just pick one up at the store huh especially how only we see half the word [BA]"BIES" reflected backwards on the window. So yeah you can buy them as the world has gone upside down.

Yeah - babies as a commodity for affluent couples who already have a designer puppy. And those designer babies in the window all look remarkably homogeneous to me...

Another thing that irked me about this cover is that it is on an issue associated with Mother's Day. This cartoon reduces motherhood to a freakish 'baby lust' - a infantile desire for something cute and little to ogle that affects women, but that exasperates men.
