Yeah, Star Wars was my favorite movie when I was three also. In my telling, I would have focused more on Princess Leia repeatedly saving the day and not being shy with a blaster, but this kid does pretty well too. I know it is a little late for Friday Feminist Cute, and a little early for Sunday Feminist Funnies, but I just can't resist:

I adored Star Wars, and Princess Leia, as a child...except the metal bikini/slave nonsense in the 3rd one (I always forget the movie names). It was disappointing for her to be sexualized like that, when she was a rare, strong female character.
Yeah, the 'slave of a slug' scene isn't the proudest Leia moment. I too prefer the Leia of the first movie, bossy in the face of adversity.
