Sad news, via CNN:Sen. Barack Obama's grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, has died following a bout with cancer, Obama and his sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, said Monday...As mentioned over at Art at the Auction, we wish she could have stayed with us for just two more days and seen her grandson elected President of the United States of America.
In a statement released Monday afternoon, Obama and his sister said that Dunham was "the cornerstone of our family, and a woman of extraordinary accomplishment, strength, and humility."
Toot will be missed.

Maybe she wanted to get on up there so that she had more influence with the big guy on a more personal level.
But really, it broke my heart when I heard the news.
