I very much want to see Juno, but I can't seem to find that there are any plans to ever show it in Atlanta-area theaters. Perhaps this is because there is no teen pregnancy in GA, so the issues the film raises simply don't need to be discussed 'round these parts. So... a road trip is in order. Until then, here's the trailer:

This looks like a great movie, Hope we haven't seen all the funny parts already.
Great casting too-both the Office and Arrested D.
Everybody loves George Michael, he's George Michael.
It just had its official release this past week, which was most likely pretty limited. I expect it'll get here in 2-3 weeks, which is our general lag time here in the ATL for the indie stuff. I guarantee you it'll play here, because the buzz is so constant I'm almost getting sick of it.
OK, fellow Carpet Baggers, if you say it will come then I'll try to be patient. Hype is half the fun though, so don't expect me to wait quietly. Where do the indie movies usually play around these parts? We saw The Darjeeling Limited at Tara Cinemas, but have yet to find any theaters that play foreign language films, for example. I'm also worried about missing Persepolis.
As for the casting - yeah, it looks good. Yet, Rainn Wilson is playing Dwight, Michael Cera is playing George Michael, and Jason Bateman is playing Michael - from the look of it. So, that could perhaps be a little distracting, we'll have to see. Ellen Page will be new to me - I've never seen her in anything else, I don't believe.
Hey now...where's the mention of Allison Janney? Ooo...and Jennifer Garner.
Wait. Was that a bit lesbian of me?
Plaza Atlanta and Midtown Art Cinema, along with Tara, keep things pretty covered for art films. And some of the multiplexes, like the one in Chamblee, also will play foreign. Juno just got its limited release, it's only in 40 theaters this week. I expect it'll be along.
Alright, perhaps I've been jumping the gun on this a bit then, being the shameless marshmallow eater that I am. I'd read that the release date was to be December 5th, so 10 days later seemed like more than enough time for me to have to wait. Thanks for the theater tips.
As for Allison Janney and Jennifer Garner, Maus, you are right that they both look like they'll be great in this movie. Perhaps this will be the film that wins me over to J.G. fandom, since I'm accustomed to thinking of her simply as "the actress from 13 Going on 30."
I really like Jennifer Garner. But then I was an Alias nut for years, which is a little embarrassing. Then again, this is a pro-woman blog, right? And it was one of the few action series that's ever put women to use in many of their kick-ass lead roles. Plus, you know, there were always costumes and wigs and such.
Hey, Alias sounds awesome - I'll have to check it out. And Maus is sure to like anything that has 'Ooo ... Jennifer Garner' in it.
Hey! Juno is coming to ATL via the Landmark Midtown Art Cinema this weekend! And right now they are playing a film called I want someone to eat cheese with that has Amy Sedaris in it (momentarily).
Maybe this town isn't so bad after all.
Ah...I see Juno is even playing for you right smack dab in Decatur. No so luck for us backward Knoxville folk.
I'll have you know, this Maus was an Alias nut the entire time it was on and it was a sad, sad day when Jennifer Garner (I mean the show) went away.
